What level of experience is required to play for FCA Lacrosse?

For our 2023 summer league it is recommended that players have prior playing experience or have participated in past FCA lacrosse clinics or camps.

Depending on player turnout and ages we hope to invite players to participate on an FCA Lacrosse team in future seasons.

As coaches, we are always excited to get athletes who are new to the sport. One of our key directives is to help instill a love of the game in the boys.

Do kids have to be from a certain church or denomination?

No. The FCA Lacrosse is for any athlete, coach, fan or friend of the lacrosse community who loves lacrosse and has an openness or desire to grown in his/her relationship with God. FCA is committed to developing “three-dimensional” athletes and coaches who want to fulfill their potential physically, mentally and spiritually.

Do kids have to be from a certain city or park district?

No. All FCA Lacrosse has had players from EVERY SCHOOL in the 757. We are the only program that is truly open to all local players.

What teams will FCA Lacrosse have for the 2023 Summer season with games?

We will be hosting middle school, high school and college and above (mens) games throughout the 2023 summer season..

What is the cost of FCA Lacrosse?

The cost for summer league registration is $80 per player.

What equipment is required?

Players interested in summer league will need to have: mouth guard (not white or clear), helmetshoulder padsarm padsgloves and a lacrosse stick. Cleats or gym shoes may be worn on the turf or field. Gym shoes are required for indoor practice. Here is a link to a good article explaining lacrosse equipment.

Is FCA Lacrosse Norfolk linked to the FCA Lacrosse organization?

FCA Lacrosse is affiliated with the national body of Fellowship of Christian athletes and is a tax exempt ministry which can receive donations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. FCA Lacrosse engages in fundraising activities to support its programs and initiatives.

Yes! We are overseen by the FCA Lacrosse office, based in Maryland.
